Arranging : Arranging Clips : Sliding Clips in Grid Mode

Sliding Clips in Grid Mode
For more information, see the following topics:
Grid mode provides several useful capabilities for sliding and moving clips in track playlists. This mode is especially useful for lining up clips at precise intervals, as when working with a session that is bar- and beat-based. Grid boundaries, depending on the Main Time Scale, can be based on frames, bar and beat values, minutes or seconds, or a number of samples.
Grid mode also provides two operational modes, Absolute and Relative. These modes control how the Grid is applied (see Absolute and Relative Grid Mode).

To temporarily suspend Grid mode and switch to Slip mode while dragging a clip, hold the Control key (Windows) or Command key (Mac).
